When we make a mistake, or do something unpleasant that makes us feel bad, there are three ways of reacting.
First is to disregard any feelings or convictions, shutting off the voice of conscience. This is a total avoidance of the source of one's distress. There is no profit from this.
The second way is to let your emotions of guilt get the better of you, making you feel really bad more than you should. This is not healthy psychologically and emotionally.
Finally but most crucially is to feel the pain, but learn the lessons and then move on. This is the best approach yet.
Moving on does not necessarily represent leniency and neglect but wisdom with the errors one commits. It's only human to err. There's no point beating oneself down up till the point of extreme pain. Embrace the pain but beyond that, learn the lessons.

It's so great to hear your own side of experiences about this. What's your say? Let's get to know. Thank you.
