Growth is a life long process!
We cannot continue to live and not grow. It should be a lifestyle. But sadly, a lot of people don't get past beyond what they learn in school. Now by growth I mean the increase in knowledge we experience daily. Each day brings along with it a lot of lessons, from our lives and that of individuals among us. The challenge of leadership

Everyone wants things to get done, everyone wants the easy way out, but who will bell the cat? In our world today, it has become commonplace for people to shy away from calls of responsibility. They most often than not, will prefer to sit at the other side to assess and judge rather than be actively involved in making things happen. Leadership is a call to change, a call of hope, a call of a better and more promising story. And most times we underestimate our ability to deliver. Anything is possible, if only we believe. Beliefs are keys to our dreams.
Accept the clarion call and embrace destiny because, as Dr Myles Munroe rightly said, "everyone can be a leader".

Lessons from "My Oga at the Top"

It came, it became a mighty heck of a phenomenon, causing people's head to roll with laughter. But we shouldn't just laugh everything off just yet. Yes there are videos, display pictures on BlackBerry phones and even branded 'My Oga at the Top' T shirts,but left to us we should introspect and learn the lessons from this while the phenomenon lasts. These are some of the lessons I can personally draw from it:
(1) Be at the top of your game. One day you just might be called to prove what you know.
(2) Nigeria's system of picking officers and employees is pitiable.
(3) Corruption is the name of the game and Loyalty is the cheat for moving from one stage to another.
(4) Even if you are in your forties, get familiar with the internet and get involved with the Computer age.
(5) If you don't know something, don't pretend to know it, making a fool of yourself.
(6) Preparation matters a lot. The examination of life has no timetable.
(7) The right people for the jobs are not picked, it's only ignorant but loyal sycophants that are honoured.
That's all.

Vacuum Feelers and Fillers

It's a beautiful monday morning. The sun has risen and life has started as it used to every morning. The traffic jams, the shouting, the chit chat here and there, the rat race continues. You know, life could really be boring. A life without a passion for existence is really boring and monotonous. There is a vacuum for meaning and existence in every human being. There are two things that can accurately fill those holes: first is God and second is purpose. The discovery of one leads to the other. Find God, and find Him well, and you will discover purpose.

How to remain poor

1. Never wake up early
Keep stretching & turning in bed until you get too hungry to continue dozing if there are no
bed bugs, why hurry to get up?

2} Never plan how to spend your money
Whenever you get money, start spending it right away and when it's finished, you try to count and
recall how you spent it.

3} Don't think of saving until you have real big money
How can you save when you earn so little? Those telling you to save are not sympathetic to
your burning needs..

4} Don't engage in activities usually reserved for the "uneducated" How can you a graduate
engage in petty trade or home based production? That's for people who never went to school.

5} Don't think of starting a business until an angel comes from heaven & give you capital.
How do they expect you to invest before you get millions of dollars? Even though more than half the businesses in your town were started with a few hundred dollar, you as a smart person can only
start with millions.

6} Complain about everything expect your own attitude:
Blame the system the government & the banks that refuse to lend you money. They are all bad & do not want you to get rich.

7. Spend more than you earn.
To achieve this, buy consumer product on credit & keep borrowing from friends & employers.

8. Compete in dressing.
Make sure wear the latest clothes among all workers in your offer. Whenever your neighbour buys a new phone, you get one that is more expensive.

9. Get yourself a nice second hand car that costs more than three times your gross monthly pay.

10. Give your children everything they ask for since you're such a loving parent.
They should not struggle for anything because you do not want them to suffer that way, they will grow up lazy & hence poor enough to ensure they can't help you in old age.
